Commercial Food Photography.

The focus of my commercial food photography is on producing vibrant imagery that pairs your product with real food, to authentically tell your brand story. My work uses intentional collections of food, tones, textures and props to create contemporary and aspirational scenes.

I’m very passionate commercial food photography, and getting under the hood of brands to learn their core messaging, and what resonates with their audience; using this to feed into our creative process and to produce commercial food photography that is unique to them.

I’ve steamlined my creaitve - that quickly takes us from briefing, to receiving your delivered commercial food photography.

As a commercial food photographer, much of my product shoots are captured in studios. Each scene is produced using an intentional balance of props, textures, and custom sets to tell each brand’s story through their commercial food photography.

Talent and models are another great way of contextualising a products in a scene, and when needing a specific look. For brands and wanting a lifestyle feeling to their commercial food photography, location hire is a great way of achieving this - as they are all very different and can require less set dressing. To add a commercial feeling to the content, I bring large studio lighting to create large, bright, yet contrasting scenes that feel real and lived in.

Two two styles of commercial food photography that I’m passionate about shooting are, more aspirationally focussed, or more playful and fun content.

Aspirational content is more relaxed and sells the lifestyle of the brand through visual storytelling. Based within real locations, or produced sets to show the product in situ, or in use within a recipe.

For the more playful content - this has a strong use of colour theory within more minimally dressed scenes that use geometric shapes, which is currently very in-trend.

Using this creative focus - I can confidently bring your vision to life through well thought out and engaging set builds - helping to help produce commercial food photography that clearly tells your brand’s story.
